Our goal is poverty alleviation and financial service is the tool to achieve the overall objective of poverty alleviation. We should all try to achieve the overall objective through tool of financial service and be careful that the tool itself should not become the objective. We should also work for responsible finance ensuring the sustainability of clients. I appreciate the effort of my team by standing with me in hard times and successfully introducing innovative sharyiah compliant products in the field. I feel proud about my staff who is ready to face every challenge that comes in the way of Islamic finance. The board has been very supportive and source of inspiration in hard times .I am also thank full to Sharyiah Board who has been providing Sharyiah guidance to the Organization . The growth of our organization is steady and continuous and we are very optimistic about future and there is no looking back .CWCD has successfully obtained company’s license under Section 42 Companies Ordinance 1984 on 22-Februry 2011 under the name of Wasil Foundation. I would also like to extend my gratitude to Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund that supported us to develop these innovative products, and a special thanks to State Bank of Pakistan which helped us in system development. Funding and Management Information System has remained a great challenge for organization in 2011 especially Sharyiah compliant funding, which we now hope that thing will get better the coming year.
